Itinerary
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight and our representative will be waiting outside to receive us. Start for a Half a day “City Tour” of Port Blair – covering, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), and Zoological Museum. After Lunch You will be taken to your hotel where you refresh, proceed to the nearest Beach, Corbyn’s Cove. The Crescent shaped coconut palm fringed Corbyn’s Cove ideal for swimming & bathing. Coastal drive to this beach is awesome; a stretch of around 4 Km with an open sea towards your left is a sight to experience. Take pit stops during this ride to click pictures and to explore the beauty. Later proceed to Cellular Jail- Better known as Kalapani –was built by Britishers in the year 1905 to imprison Indian freedom fighter, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail – where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Enacting of freedom fighters and their struggle for India’s Independence is enacted during this trip. Post completion of this trip, we drop you back to your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel at Port Blair.
(NOTE: Cellular jail and Museums closes by 1600hrs. The Light & sound show remain open every day 1800hrs. Light n Sound tickets are on 1st come 1st serve basis which we’ll get booked for you.)
In the morning 08:00 breakfast after we start our tour for a full- day excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a
breath-taking spectacle. Please carry your drinking water & changing dress. (Water sports activities available here are Scuba diving, Underwater sea-walk, Snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride, Jet ski- water scooter, Banana boat ride, speed boat etc on direct payment
basis) After Lunch North Bay, Visit Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia, was nick named the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Dinner and Overnight
stay at Hotel at Port Blair.
(NOTE: 1. Ross Island & North Bay is closed on Wednesdays. This trip is purely subjected to ferry operation & govt. Clearance. 2. There might be waiting time at the water sports complex due to boat timings, so we request to cooperate)
On this New Year day we start Early to our journey towards Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair Harbor with packed breakfast from our hotel. On arrival at Havelock, our representative will receive and escort you to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7) the Times Magazine rated the finest beach among the best beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. On arrival proceed to our hotel. Stay here overnight in a comfortable resort at Havelock Island. Lunch and Dinner at Hotel.
(NOTE: This day we’ll be travelling by an early morning ferry. We may carry packed breakfast from our hotel. Ferry operation is purely subjected to weather condition).
After breakfast check out and Trip to Elephant Beach: Embark on the most memorable trip, this beach calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Return transfer by ferry to Port Blair, on arrival proceed to our hotel. If time permits we go for some shopping. Overnight at Port Blair with dinner.
After Breakfast, at appropriate time Drop to Airport with lasting memories of these Andaman Islands.
